Homes with “smart home” features such as automated lighting, electronic locks, security systems and smart thermostats are becoming more popular with today’s homebuyers and Chicago ranks No. 7 in real estate markets when it comes to smart homes, according to an analysis by realtor.com.
To figure out the rankings, realtor.com searched its listings using around 100 smart home keywords. Who ranked No. 1?
